McCullough Lake - Early Snows

Last year we went to McCullough Lake around this time, and we call it the "magic time" because it was just amazing, fog rolling around, sun streaking through clouds, frozen lake, wildlife crossing said frozen lake. So of course we went back!

It was gloomy, it was so still, but it was nice. And I had a new camera to test out there! Teehee...I have purchased a new walk around camera, the Canon Powershot A540. I needed a good test for it and this fit the bill! All of these shots were taken with it at ISO 80 with very little post processing beyond the resize and a light unsharp mask at the end.

I'm happy, it's fast, clean, sharp, cheap AND fits in my coat pocket with ease...bingo!
