Up The Highway

The highway leading out of town, I've driven it many times. It leads to places like McCullough Lake for skiing/camping/walking.
There's a part of the road where the hills roll with desert grasses and where the blue sky only serves to bring out the color of everything even more. I've only whizzed past this part though, always driving to somewhere and anxious to get there or driving back and anxious to return. This time our destination was a pullout just outside the city for a summer evening stroll watching people whizz past.
