This photo of Mike in his natural environment was captured recently, so familiar with being behind the lens, the Mike is rarely photographed himself.
	Caution should be used when approaching the Mike, though he is generally docile, he has been known to attack when provoked.  As illustrated in this photo, the photographer clearly used too much flash, startling the Mike into action.  The photographer's whereabouts, are still unknown.

Mike is a photographer from the Okanagan Valley, in British Columbia, Canada.  Having always had a passion for the outdoors, and growing up with parents who were shutterbugs, nature photography runs in Mike's blood.  He has visited many fantastic places (though not nearly as many as he'd like) and has always found the best way to bring the memories of those places into the lives of others, has been through pictures. 

Many a friend and family member has been forced to sit through countless rolls of film after a camping trip, but their compliments and advice have improved his photography dramatically. 

Mike believes that a good picture is not simply about the content of the shot, it's about the vibe it gives the viewer.  A photo can be taken hundreds of different ways, and in mine I hope to convey a feeling as well as a beautiful image.
